TaoTao Li

President & Cofounder (2020-2021)

Taotao majored in RCST (Latin America/Middle East) in the SFS, with minors in Spanish and Environmental studies. Originally from Washington DC, Taotao started GEC to give Georgetown undergrads an opportunity to cultivate interests at the intersection of business and sustainability. She spent the summer interning for the International Food Policy Research Institute, and enjoys (re)watching Criminal Minds and making home-cooked meals in her free time.

Alanna Pearson

Vice President & Cofounder (2020-2021)

Alanna is originally from Atlanta, GA, and is a senior in the SFS majoring in Science, Technology, and International Affairs with a Concentration in Energy and Environment and minoring in Latin American Studies and Biology. Alanna spent her summer in DC interning for the Office of Energy Transformation at the Department of State. In her spare time, Alanna enjoys going on hikes with friends and exploring DC’s many art museums.

Julien Strickland

Director of Consulting (2020-2021)

Julien is a senior in the College majoring in Government and minoring in Business Administration & Environmental Studies. Julien has previously consulted for several startups in the environmental technology sector and worked for a Venture Capital firm and Incubator to help develop and finance early stage companies. In his spare time, he enjoys mountaineering, shooting film, and exploring new restaurants!

Levi Luck

Director of Membership (2020-2021)

Levi is a junior in the Business and Global Affairs Joint degree with the SFS and MSB, Minoring in Environmental Studies and International Development. Originally from Boise, Idaho, Levi is excited about creating a club on campus dedicated to the intersection of business and sustainability. He knows that GEC’s accomplishments will undoubtedly prove both fulfilling and intellectually stimulating. In his free time, Levi loves to ski, hike, and spend time with friends.

Roselle Lovell-Smith

Director of Marketing (2020-2021)

Roselle is from Walpole, NH, and is a senior in the SFS studying International Politics and French. She is dedicated to environmental sustainability and how it intersects with a broad array of topics. Roselle spent her summer interning for the Council on Foreign Relations and hopes to spend her last school-year in DC exploring the city.

Alexis Gorfine

Director of Marketing (2020-2021)

Alexis Gorfine is a senior in the SFS studying International Politics and minoring in Latin American Studies. In her position at GEC, she will collaborate with experts in the DMV area and Georgetown community to bring environmental, policy, and business-focused events and professional opportunities to members.
